Moonee also offers a headland called “look at me headland” This is a wonderful way to look at all the sites from a height. It is 1.6km loop around the headland and is recommend to take 15-45 minutes depending on pace. This is a great place to watch out for whales in winter and kangaroos in spring. This beach also offers amazing surf which can be carried out on both sides of the headland due to it being protected by the winds.
Fishing in winter is perfect for catching Mullaway fish so head down this way for a flick on the rocks. For people who enjoy canoeing or kayaking, Moonee creek has an easy canoe route for all.
